The World According to Amarinda

My name is Amarinda Jones. Who the hell am I? Good question. I can be a saint or a sinner - though sinning is much more exciting. I am the girl next door, I am the woman you admire, the woman you hate and the woman you who speaks her mind and gets in trouble. But what the hell. Life is short so say it, mean it and move on.

Amongst other things, I write books. Why? Why not? Everyone has a story. My stories are about real people - the dumb things they do and the fabulous things they do for love. I ask questions like can having wild sex in a lift with a gorgeous stranger be a bad thing? The answer is "very likely" when that man turns out to be the CEO of the company you work for and he is the last man you want having any control over you. Being all hot and naked with the sexy CEO is not exactly a career move – especially not in public, screaming your lungs out as you come. Ah, but things just happen don't they?

I write about theives and vampires and bad boys. I write about smart, kick arse women who want the hot guy but on their terms only. So take a look at my website and my books and let me know what you think.

I will leave you with this thought for today. Young Charlene, a friend of mind, and I were discussing the genre of psychological submission and how people are writing it…Charlene’s classic response which still has me laughing was…

"I am familiar with the genre but never combined with erotica - can't you just see it "I am going to F you - no I'm not - I'm a going to pretend I'm going to F you but instead I am going to torture you with the curiosity of whether I am going to F you or not" How is that going to work?
