Two things...

I was at the gym this morning running 5km. It was either do it at the gym and sweat a lot or do it along the Cairns Esplanade and sweat a lot. I chose door number one due to air con. Anyway, I ramped up the treadie and ran faster than I ever had before – I feel this pain deeply now. But the point of my story is this – there was this woman on the next treadmill who was running fast as well. However, she was making the most interesting sounds. I swear to god it sounded like she was in the throes of the most amazing sex and on the verge of orgasm. I thought two things – 1. How bizarre. 2. I want that treadmill tomorrow.

'Got milk?

“Why marry the cow when the milk is free?” My mother - probably every one’s mum, way back when – said this to their daughters. As a teenager, I knew what she meant. But also as a teenager I was way too focussed/obsessed on earning enough money at McDonalds to get me travelling overseas. Cows? Milk? Pimply teenage boys? Oh please, I have a goal and ambition. Sex? I don’t have time for that. I need money!

I doubt that whole cow analogy is used today. Sex is sex and out there and teenagers are gonna do it despite cows and milk and ‘what the hell has a cow got to do with sex anyway?’ I can hear some kid ask. Well, exactly. Sex is demystified and in many ways that's good because as a society we’re open about it – ipso facto that Fifty Shades of Gray drivel – yes, I can say it’s drivel because as I reader I bought it and it’s my opinion. And, while it may be a best seller, the main characters are immature twats. Anyway, my point is, and I do have one, I kinda miss the anticipationary (yes, made up word) illusion of the shall we/can we/should we/gee its naughty sex. What is the point of this post? Cows? Milk? Sex? Sorta, but mainly I believe we’ve demystified sex to the point that it’s like drinking coffee.

But there is hope. I can now see a weird turn around in the stories that writers, especially ebook writers, are penning when it comes to romance. Oh sure there are still the diehard ones writing about one woman getting shagged senseless by five ‘protective’ non condom wearing, shapeshifter cowboys but romance seems to be creeping back in without the race to thrust something into a hole in the first three pages. Maybe we can have a cow, the milk and later on an orgasm too…

Lust…

I’ve been pondering it. What if you lust after someone but you're not sure of their feelings because they don’t show them so you think ‘okay, he/she, doesn’t want me’ so you hide your feelings because there’s nothing worse them rejection. Actually, baked beans are worse than rejection…but I digress…so you hide your feelings and they hide their feelings. No one touches anyone or lets go or gives in to lust or orgasms or just has a bloody good time. Damn shame we’re all so careful.

Orgasms part deux...

Berengaria Brown has left a new comment on your post "Orgasms per hour…":

"But since the average male only takes 7 minutes from zero to orgasm, you could triple the number of sessions per day easily
...Berengaria"

Hmmm...what is an average male? Isn't it more dependent on the stamina, creativity and staying power of the man? Who is average anymore? And seven minutes into it? I'm still talking and confusing the man in question. Now that's how you make it last...confuse 'em.

Orgasms per hour…

So I was at work discussing via email, with a very dear friend, how many orgasms you can give a person per hour and how much, if you were so inclined, could you charge for them and in the end would it be worth the effort? Yes, I am terribly busy at work but when these questions come up of course I have to answer them. Why? Because who knows when you’ll have to charge per orgasm. You’d want to get it right.

I worked out, roughly if you charged $150 a session, orgasms included, 8 sessions a day, 5 days a week, 4 weeks off a year for holidays, you could make a living. This does not factor in doing ‘special’ requests which would earn more money nor does it factor in the wear and tear on the equipment, health concerns, tax payable, purchasing of condoms etc. So, when you think about it the working girls and boys out there do it very tough and an orgasm would cost a lot more than just in a monetary sense. Aren’t you glad I spent time working this out?

It’s not always about the orgasm…

“From the dark end of the street -- To the bright side of the road -- We'll be lovers once again on the -- Bright side of the road” ~ Van Morrison

Yeah, I’d agree with that…simple need and sharing whatever time is given to us.

Best fake orgasm ever

I asked a man today how he knew a woman was faking orgasm. I’m not 100% sure how we got on the topic but we did and then the whole When Harry Met Sally thing came up and I asked the question. I’m sure it’s not something most men want to discuss with a nosy woman. His answer? He knew. My thoughts? Why bother faking?
