Eclipsing...

So, I had this brilliant idea that I would spend my birthday on a tropical island off the coast of Cairns basically because I could, it would get me out of work and I convinced myself I was worth the ferry trip over and a night in a cabin on the beach. Great idea right? Snorkelling, feeding fish, swimming and basically doing stuff all. So I went to book it on line. Guess what? That bloody Solar Eclipse is on at the same time in November and Cairns and Far North Queensland is the best place to be to experience it. Apparently, my birthday is second best to a cosmic occurrence. Puts me in my place don’t it?
