So, I was talking to a non writing friend about having no
interest whatsoever in writing any more and she said ‘Maybe, you’re past that
point in your life where you had to do that. Maybe you need to move on to something
better and more powerful than that.'

That's a lovely perceptive observation. And if you ever decide to take it up again, you know exactly how to do so...
Maybe you're burned out on it. I mean, you did write a lot of books. Or maybe it's the erotic genre you have gotten tired of. Try writing in a different genre and see if you still feel unmotivated.
